Le Cast is a production trio based in Tuscany (Italy) and their brand of synthwave/retrowave is heavily influenced by the electronic music traditions of their home land. Fascinated by the 80s, from the movies to the songs they grew up with and which strongly influenced them, they have a touch of Italo Disco and very heartfelt melodies. The second EP of the band finds a new home in Aztec Records to wide their reach and appeal.
Although entirely instrumental, the masterful arrangements and the very engaging melodic phrasing give the EP a very 'cantati' feel. Up there with the best of the Italian composers of electronic music.
